Last Friday (10/12-2012), we practiced our constructions. As we used them to define three basic segments of triangles: altitudes, medians, and angle bisectors. We did not have time to work with the perpendicular bisector. We will be discussing these segments in more detail on Monday. Mean while, i would like for you to write a short paper discussing the properties of these segments. In this paper, you will explain how to construct each of the three segments as well as the name given to each of the intersections of those points (orthocenter, incenter, etc). Also, include a brief explanation of the uses of each of the centers.
